Membership Rates
Any person who is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Illinois or by any other state, currently in good standing, and at the time of his or her application for membership is either practicing law in Illinois or residing in Illinois may apply for membership. Attorney Members are entitled to vote and/or run for the Board of Directors and may be appointed as a committee chair or other leadership position within the Association.
For attorneys joining the DuPage County Bar Association during the following months, please pay the appropriate prorated amount. Following May 1st of the upcoming year, you will be billed according to your annual rate. See below for other membership options.

*Government Attorneys Must be a full-time attorney employee of a Municipality or other qualifying government agency to qualify for these rates.
We offer free membership, for the first year after admission to practice law, to all new attorneys who live and/or work in DuPage County. - Attorney Application (PDF) or fill out the online application.
Student Membership is available free to any person currently enrolled full or part-time in any law or paralegal school seeking his/her J.D. or paralegal certificate. Fill out the online application or -Student Application (PDF). Annual Dues are FREE (with electronic version of DCBA Brief publication). Add a subscription to the Brief magazine for the student cost of $25.
Legal Community Membership is available to any non-attorney who is integrally involved in the legal community as a paralegal, legal assistant, law firm administrator, legal secretary, court manager or other court staff. Legal Community Members are not eligible to vote and/or run for the Board of Directors. Upon payment of dues, Legal Community Members may be appointed as a committee chair. Membership dues are prorated according to the month you join. Please view the Associate Membership Rates and then use the Legal Community Membership application PDF or fill out the online application.
Affiliate Membership is available to any other person who is not admitted to practice law and does not qualify for membership under any other membership category. You may apply and become an Affiliate Member, as determined by the Board of Directors in its sole discretion. Affiliate Members are typically individuals associated with firms or businesses that provide services to the legal community. Affiliate Members are not eligible to vote and/or run for the Board of Directors nor are they eligible to be appointed as a committee chair. Review the Affiliate Membership Rates and complete the PDF Affiliation Application or online version of the Affiliate Application. There is an option to include a subscription to the Brief magazine.
